At Kent Social Care and Consultancy, we provide specialist communitybased support for people who have an offending history or are at significant risk of offending. Many individuals arrive from secure hospitals, criminal justice settings or unstable placements, often under Ministry of Justice restrictions or Mental Health Act conditions. We offer them stability, purpose and a clear pathway to a safer, more independent life.
Our forensic model is founded on the internationally recognised Good Lives Model, which focuses on each person’s strengths, aspirations and potential. Rather than focusing solely on managing risk, we work to build capabilities, confidence and longterm wellbeing. Our approach is about enabling growth — creating opportunities for a positive future instead of repeatedly revisiting past challenges.
Key aspects of our model include:
Above all, we see each individual as a person first — not an offender and not a diagnosis. This respectful, empowering ethos underpins every part of our work and ensures that people can move forward with dignity, confidence and hope.
